Dear grandson, you are indeed a bird nut or a nutty birder. But the black background and small font make it difficult to read about your exciting trips. love your appreciative grandpa
Finally got around to checking out your site, very impressed with your photography and the site of course. The hummingbird pics are so nice and clear. We have tried to get some photos of them, with no luck, always fuzzy. I also see that you had the Cannon Power Shot, that is the camera we have. Fantastic job!
Hi David, Excellent site. Better than mine even. lol U have some great photos. I was particualrly interested in what you found on your trips west. Except for Southern AZ, I have been to almost the exactly the same places and yet, there's about 100 or so species that I didn't find when I was there. Happy Birding! --Chris
Suggestion -- Why not leave your costa rica link on main page and just link directly to your other site so people can find it more easily or are you limited to bookmarks rather than links in your side bar?
I thought I would share this with you. I was very lucky to get this photo of this Mute Swans family. Swan Heart Hope you don't mind that I linked it to my site. Hope you are having luck in your birding!
I was very impressed with you pictures and your talent for id'ing the birds. I didn't know there were so many types around upper Michigan. now I do. I assumed that if a name was given that they were your pictures. There were some of them that i thought were exceptional. keep it up. keep in touch.
Dear David, my best oldest grandson, I am very proud of your excellent report on the Costa Rica trip even if birders pay little attention to food, people and other aspects that I am sure an observant person like you noticed, or that you did not identify the rental company (Hertz) that provided the car with bald tires which they would not change, or that birders tend to want the best seat in vans... I also note that you demonstrate what thoughtful parents (and helpful grandparents?) plus a public education in Sault Ste Marie can produce. Keep it up and lots of love, proud grandpa
